Everest Basecamp Trekking in Tibet Tour

Everest Basecamp Trekking in Tibet. The north face of Mount Everest houses the Tibet Everest Base Camp, situated in the alpine terrain of the Himalayas. This challenging and adventurous Tibet Trekking takes you to the base camp of the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, which stands at a height of 8844 meters.

Upon your arrival, our representatives will greet you and accompany you during the first couple of days. You will gradually acclimatize to the high altitude, alleviate jet lag, and explore the supernatural Potala Palace, mystical Jokhang Temple, sprawling Drepung, and spiritual Sera Monastery in the holy city of Lhasa. Additionally, you can join thousands of pilgrims from all over Tibet as you walk along Bhakor Street, one of the most crowded and visited spots in Lhasa.

The journey continues westward, offering breathtaking views of the magnificent Yamdrok Lake and the blooming Nyenchen Khangsar glacier. You will reach the cultural heartland of Gyantse and Shigatse, located in Tsang (western Tibet). The Everest Trekking begins from Old Tingri, providing a southern perspective of Mt. Everest and Mt. Cho Oyu.

The trail traverses the hilly Rachu valley, crossing the Lamar la pass (5250m) to reach the Tibet Everest Base Camp Trek. Along the way, you will witness a superb panorama of the young Himalayas, as well as the prominent features of the Everest Hiking, such as the nomad’s family tents and villages scattered across the moonscape valley. However, reaching the pictorial scenery of the mighty Everest peak will require several days of challenging trekking in high altitudes.

Spending the night at the foot of Everest, you will witness the golden face of the mountain under the morning sunshine. The summer season offers the best weather conditions for the EBC Trek, making it the ideal time to embark on this adventure. Furthermore, the cost of the Everest Base Camp Trek is reasonable and includes a private Everest Base Camp Trekking Guide who speaks fluent English and possesses years of experience, along with an experienced driver to accompany you throughout your entire Everest Trip.
